this is my second backrest.lost the fist one on the road last month.my fault, was in a hurry and didn`t secure it in the holder.this one fits into the holder better,no need for tape but it sits too high above the driver seat.I had to cut 1 inch off the end and move the mounting bracket closer to the drivers seat.after a little grinding and filing to smooth out the edges and a coat of black paint it was all good.

For $105 this is a pretty good deal. Sure better than the alternatives at more than twice the cost. I have used it just a little bit so far, but I like it so far. I will know more after a 200 mile trip; but it has got to help with butt/back fatigue. For me I had to bend the support forward a bit - it was too far back for my comfort. It seems perfect for me now. It was easy to bend in a large vise. It looks nice and matched the studded seats well on my RS Silverado. They shipped it fast to me. All considered I am please with my purchase. Bill Kline PS: gave it 4 stars because it is not as nice as the $250+ backrests; so I could not honestly say it is the best ever. But is it well worth what it cost from these folks.
