Kawasaki 1700 Nomad/Voyager Classic LT Installation Instructions
1. Remove drivers seat and turn upside down
2. Remove the two 10mm bolts securing the u-shape bracket
3. Place the supplied bracket under the "u" bracket and resecure making sure that the supplied bracket is as close as possible to the seat.
4. Replace seat as normal
5. Slide backrest into hidden sleeve and ride safe!

Awesome Backrest
Long-time grasshopper customer. I had one of these for my 2006 Suzuki C90T, 2005 Suzuki C90, and now on my 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad, Very happy with my decision and the products. They save my back on long rides and make riding more enjoyable because of it. I would purchase it again.

Kawasaki vulcan voyager 1700 back rest
Install was super easy and is nice and sturdy but I think the bar that's attached to the back rest could have used a little more bending, I find that my back doesn't touch the lower half of the back rest making it pretty uncomfortable so i think i will tty to find a way to bend it more myself. I think to make the back rest so it has a pivot point by the pad would be the way to make this back rest just right
