Kawasaki 1700 Nomad/Voyager Classic LT Installation Instructions
1. Remove drivers seat and turn upside down
2. Remove the two 10mm bolts securing the u-shape bracket
3. Place the supplied bracket under the "u" bracket and resecure making sure that the supplied bracket is as close as possible to the seat.
4. Replace seat as normal
5. Slide backrest into hidden sleeve and ride safe!

This review is a follow-up from my March 2015 review. I now have about 1500 miles of use with the Grasshopper on my 1700 Nomad. It was easy to install, and the quality was excellent. At 67 years of age, I needed something that would give me great back support and would not interfere with my wife's passenger space. The back rest comes off and goes on with ease. My wife likes the back pocket to hold maps, garage door opener, etc.. I would highly recommend this product.

I have been looking for a back rest for some time. Just didn't want to spend a fortune on one. This was the best $100.00 I spent. I wanted the wife to have a pocket. The comfort I have now while riding its unreal. I am not able to explain except I know I can put on hundred more miles without worry
