Honda Shadow Spirit 1997-UP Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat
2. Remove two bolts that holds down the driver's seat then remove the seat
3. Flip drivers seat over exposing the three bolts that secure the mounting bracket, remove bracket
4. Place supplied bracket over middle hole seat firmly!
5. Reinstall bracket and driver seat
6. Reinstall passenger seat it will be tight
7. Slide backrest into sleeve and enjoy

Great product!
I'm very happy with my purchase! It came quickly, it was very easy to install, and the seat is a great match for the my bike. I went out on a ride, and the seat provided a nice bit of back rest and made it easier to find a comfortable seating position. Highly recommend, especially for the price! Definitely worth it.

Stop researching backrests...you have found the best one...BUY IT!
O.M.Gosh... I have searched high and low for a good backrest that would not require to me either break the bank nor require me to purchase and install a completely new seat. This product is absolutely hands down the best "add-on" accessory I have purchased to date. Install was very easy and took maybe 10-15 minutes. Took longer to find the right tools to remove the bolts holding my seat in. Additionally, the quality of the finish and stitching is superb and 100% matches my existing seat. The true test is how my back feels. After 25-30 miles of riding, I always had to start stretching my back out during the ride. Now I am finding that I only have to stretch the legs once the 100+ mile ride is complete. :D Thank you for making an amazing product. I will recommend this to all my fellow riders.

just what the doctor ordered. Install was simple and the driver's backrest does exactly what it is suppose to do ..save my back!
